Parkinson's Journey Québec Chaudière-Appalaches

The organizing committee of Parkinson's Journey from Québec Chaudière-Appalaches is eager to meet you:
  • When? Sunday, September 8, 2019
  • Where ? on the site of the Plains of Abraham facing the National Museum of Fine Arts of Québec.

For those who wish to participate in the event, we offer you two choices of activity :  

  1. Traditional Journey that is 2 km in the streets surrounding the Plains site. This course is accessible to all and will start at 1 pm.

  2. Alternative Journey which consists, at your choice, in a walk or a race of a maximum of 10 km on the site of the site Battlefield Park. People of all ages are welcome, including strollers and everyone can participate according to their abilities. This course will start at 10 am.


Participants in any of the courses are invited to contribute to this fundraiser by donating or sponsoring for their participation. 

It is of course possible to participate in both courses. In this case, we invite you to come to picnic on the site. There will be animation for all ages.

  • By giving your donating to someone around you who will participate in one of the courses. You can signify this donation online by finding your name in the list of ''participants'' in your region, Parkinson Région de Québec Chaudière-Appalaches.
  • By donating on site the day of the event.
For any donation of $20 or more, a receipt will be issued.

Schedule of the day of September 8

  • 9:00 am  : Registration of participants in the Alternative Journey (10 km walk or race)
  • 10:00 am: Departure of the Alternative Journey
  • 10:00 am to 1:00 pm : Registration of the Traditional Journey, children's entertainement, silent auction, information kiosks, on site prizes, picnic*.
  • 1:00 pm : Departure of the Traditional Journey
  • 2:30 pm : Closing of the event

 *Important notes: The activity will take place rain or shine. A large tent will be mounted on site to welcome you. You can bring your lunch or get a lunch box for sale on the site (limited quatity).
